You have an enemy much closer than you think.
It isn't merely the devil.
It isn't the culture.
It isn't your circumstances.
It's the flesh.
The Bible repeatedly warns believers not to place confidence in the flesh because it cannot be trusted. Left unchecked, it pulls us toward pride, compromise, self-reliance, and disobedience. Yet many Christians spend years trying to improve the flesh instead of learning how to walk in the Spirit.
In The Flesh Cannot Be Trusted, bestselling Christian author Dr. Vince Rizzo offers a practical, biblical guide to winning the daily battle within. Rather than focusing on condemnation or legalism, this book points readers to the victorious life that Jesus Christ has already provided.
Inside you'll discover:
- Why the flesh continually opposes the Spirit
- How to recognize the subtle voice of the flesh
- Why willpower alone never produces lasting victory
- How to crucify the flesh without falling into legalism
- The secret of walking in continual dependence upon the Holy Spirit
- How to overcome temptation before it becomes sin
- Why holiness leads to greater freedom-not less
- How to develop lasting spiritual stability instead of constant defeat
- The life-changing difference between self-effort and Christ living through you
Each chapter combines biblical teaching, practical application, Victory Tips, and heartfelt Activation Prayers that will strengthen your walk with Christ.
Whether you are a new believer or have followed Jesus for decades, this book will help you stop trusting your own strength and begin living from the power of the Holy Spirit.
The flesh cannot be trusted.
But Christ can.
Learn to walk in His victory every day.
