I started this trip as a sort of maintenance effort. I had first come to Kenya twelve years earlier and wanted to know how the churches were still doing. This is what Paul did - go back and make sure they are still on fire.
I started at one end of Kenya and travelled the distance to the other side. Everywhere we went, we met an unsatiated hunger for God. Not just for the idea of God or a new form of worship, but for a deep and enduring personal experience with the Spirit of God. They were starving.

It's hard to say, but I got the very distinct impression that He was just as hungry for them as they were for Him. I say that because wherever we went we were met with the powerful presence of God. These were His precious children, and He was in love with them.
There is a drawing power to the Holy Spirit that extends past physical barriers. We would be way out in the Bush and people would come from everywhere. The power of God drew them in. God is moving here.
