The Fiery Cross is a historical fiction novel written by John Oxenham. The novel is set in the Scottish Highlands during the 18th century and follows the story of a young Highlander named Ewan MacGregor. Ewan is a member of the MacGregor clan, which has been outlawed by the British government. The novel begins with Ewan returning to his home after fighting in the Jacobite rebellion. He finds his home burned down and his family missing. Ewan sets out on a quest to find his family and clear his clan's name. Along the way, he meets a group of rebels who are fighting against the British government. Ewan joins their cause and becomes a key player in the rebellion. The novel is filled with action, adventure, and romance as Ewan fights to save his family and his clan.
