Fiat Lux is the fascinating history of the architectural design by Emanuel Pimenta and of an important musical center created by João Frederico Ludovice and Luca Alverdi for an ancient building of the 14th century, owned by a humanitarian institution founded more than five hundred years ago, at the city of Borba, in Portugal. It is project of local, regional and national importance. The book focuses the architectural design. Even so, the project in its whole, in its various faces, represented the meeting of seven personalities in a transdisciplinary context: Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta, António Reca de Sousa, António de Souza Cardoso, Fernando Carvalho, João Frederico Ludovice, Luca Alverdi e Rui Bacalhau.
