My speculative new view of evolution.
For over a century, Darwinism has explained evolution as the product of random variation and natural selection. Later, epigenetics revealed how environments can influence gene expression, adding new depth but still leaving unanswered questions. How do highly specialized traits arise with such remarkable precision?
This book introduces the Feedback Mechanism (FM) as a fresh perspective. FM proposes that the environment actively shapes organisms during development, priming traits before birth and reinforcing them across generations. Instead of seeing evolution as driven solely by chance, FM highlights the role of feedback between organisms and their surroundings.
Accessible and thought-provoking, this volume lays the groundwork for a new way of understanding evolution - bridging Darwinism, Lamarck's early insights, and modern discoveries in epigenetics. It is the entry point for readers curious about evolution's hidden dynamics.
