Grammy's Superhero books teach elementary age children, and parents, about the important and lifesaving role a guide dog serves for their blind partner. The reader is invited into real-life adventures with Grammy and her grandchildren. As you read the entire series, you learn to appreciate how guide dogs complete their work as the eyes for their partner, and how the partner understands and controls the guide dog. It is the heartfelt journey of unconditional love at the most basic level. The series is a wonderful tool for teachers and parents to help engage their children in human compassion and socially correct skills.

Feather's Santa Train Surprise: The story of a Seeing Eye(R) dog...extends the series to include puppies being socialized with the goal of the becoming a guide dog. Grammy sets up two surprises for her grandson, Callen during a ride on the Strasburg Steam Train.
Feather Goes to School: The story of a Seeing Eye(R) dog...gives Callen the opportunity to show off his Grammy and her guide dog during an assembly at his school. Callen has a super fun surprise for his best friends.
Feather Visits Puppy Training: The story of a Seeing Eye(R) dog...attend a puppy in training meeting to learn how volunteer teach puppies the socialization skills that are so critical for guide dogs. As a twist read the story from the perspective of the dog's view.
