Partridge Funeral Home, located in Toronto, is chosen to embalm and hold the wake for Mr. Ripples a favorite television personality. Only problem is, he has a slew of puppets. Some are favorites and are to be buried with him, others are to be cremated.
Job, Luna's employee has been given the task of transporting them to the crematorium. He is obsessed with one of Mr. Ripples most terrifying puppets, the dragon Komoto.

Job uses some of the ashes to have a tattoo of Komoto inked on his upper arm. He becomes the puppet to the dragon puppet master when Komoto comes to life and wreaks havoc, leaving destruction in his wake.
Julian and Julia Bearcloud are kidnapped by an off the grid couple, and community tensions mounts as Police Officer Eden, Luna and Angew, a spirit who is forever haunting the funeral home, race to save the innocent lives.
Will they reach the family before it's too late and will Komoto be stopped in his tracks before more people are killed?
