The girl, Elizabeth, adopts the kitten, thrilled to have a companion to end her loneliness and together the two embark upon a fantasy life, which begins at a theatrical audition at which the singer of choice becomes not Elizabeth, but the kitty, Miss Libby. Written in poetry, the two share adventures at home and abroad with Miss Libby singing along to Beethoven, Schubert, Paganini, etc. for their supper as highly paid celebrities. If you would like to meet Miss Libby, Miss Elizabeth and their friends, Cookie Kookie Curtis, Priscilla Nadine and Marcel Maurice from the International Feline Corps. of Diplomacy, the King and the Queen of England, His Eminence, the Pope, and Bev and Mickey J.
