Growing up as the sixth child in a bustling household of twelve siblings, I found myself in a unique position within the Sandalo family. As a middle child, I learned to navigate between the wisdom of my older siblings and the enthusiasm of the younger ones, finding a sense of balance that would shape my approach to life.
My journey led me to a deeply fulfilling career in nursing, where I dedicated 55 years of my life to the noble profession of surgical nursing. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of caring for countless patients and witnessing the miracles of healing firsthand. These experiences taught me the true meaning of compassion, resilience, and dedication.
Beyond my professional life, I am blessed with a loving family of my own. Supported by my devoted husband and our blended family, which includes my three wonderful children from a previous marriage and two grandchildren, my family has been my rock and my greatest source of joy.
A pivotal moment in my life occurred when I discovered my mother's diary after her passing. This treasure trove of memories and reflections sparked a newfound passion within me-a desire to honor my mother's legacy by sharing her remarkable story with the world. It was then that I knew I had found my calling as an author.
Now, as I embark on this new chapter of my life, I am excited to weave together the threads of my own experiences and those of my beloved mother into a tapestry of inspiration and resilience. Through my writing, I aim to celebrate the power of faith, love, and family, inviting readers to join me on this journey of discovery and reflection.
