Faith Is A Song: The Odyssey Of An American Artist is a memoir written by Jessica Dragonette, an American opera singer and radio personality. The book tells the story of Dragonette's life, from her childhood in New York City to her rise to fame as a singer and radio host. Dragonette was born into a family of musicians and performers, and she began singing at a young age. She was discovered by a talent scout and soon began performing in operas and concerts around the world. Throughout her career, Dragonette faced many challenges, including discrimination and sexism in the male-dominated world of opera. She also struggled with personal issues, including a difficult marriage and a battle with alcoholism. Despite these challenges, Dragonette remained committed to her faith and her love for music. She continued to perform and record music, and she also became a popular radio personality, hosting her own show on WOR in New York City. Faith Is A Song is a moving and inspiring memoir that celebrates the power of music and faith to overcome adversity. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of American opera and radio, as well as for fans of Jessica Dragonette's music. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
