The book of Esther teaches us the principles of respect and reverence for those who hold positions of authority. It is the meek of this earth that will voluntarily submit to those in authority and be qualified for eternal glory, royalty, honor, and dignity in heaven. Mordecai, a Jewish man of honor, dignity, and faith, believed in the promises of God. He believed that God's king and indestructible kingdom would come and there would be no one to stop it. God providentially cares for his people though enemies try to exterminate their race and hope. A study of Esther will infuse you with knowledge of God's desired character and hope of making it to heaven one day.
