When Francesca approaches the reality of the homeless, her mood is that of someone preparing for an experience through solitude and marginalization. At some point, however, the story turned in something that she didn't expected. She shares the fears and difficulties of eight of them for a year and ends up discovering that despite having lost all material things their soul still shines and like all other human beings they need to express themselves and be heard. Francesca discovers the power of a hug and the importance of spending time with them, she finds a part of herself that she believed it was lost. In the light of her journey she shares the stories of the homeless she encountered on the street.
