Igbuzo is one of the strongest communities in Anioma forced to survive the forces of the late 19th century to the early 20th century when the British soldiers invaded the Enuani communities in the Delta Region of Nigeria. A young man must fulfill an age long prophecy, and put an end to British domination of Anioma to save his community.
'Ekumeku' The Rising Sun builds a story around the movement of the Igbos (a tribe in Nigeria) to fight off colonialism. Inspired by Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

For the gods will raise a warrior and a raven. They shall rise with the sun! Anioma shall be protected against the enemies of fire. And they shall raise an army of men to fight the darkness. And when the sun rises again, the lands shall be saved.
