The crisis facing not only humankind but the very planet is of such a magnitude that we need avail ourselves of all the accumulated wisdom possible-which necessarily includes the wisdom of Jesus of Nazareth-or else literally perish. Earth Brother Jesus is indeed about salvation, but salvation of the entire Earth community; and it is indeed about the potential magnificent role Jesus can play in this salvation, but a dramatically different Jesus than traditionally imagined. Who do men say that I am? As Jesus asked this long ago, imagine him asking it of us now. Courage to each as she or he marshals intellect wedded to soul, and dares to answer.
