Extracts From Alfreds Orosius (1885) is a book that contains selected passages from the historical work Orosius by Paulus Orosius, as translated and edited by King Alfred the Great of England in the 9th century. The book includes sections on ancient history, such as the origins of Rome and the conquests of Alexander the Great, as well as Christian history, including the spread of Christianity and the lives of saints. The passages are presented in their original Latin with an English translation, and are accompanied by notes and commentary to provide context and explanation.
