Exposition Or A New Theory Of Animal Magnetism: With A Key To The Mysteries, Demonstrated By Experiments With The Most Celebrated Somnambulists In America (1837) is a book written by Charles Ferson Durant. The book explores the concept of animal magnetism, also known as mesmerism, and presents a new theory about it. The author demonstrates his theory by conducting experiments with some of the most famous somnambulists in America. Somnambulism is a state of sleepwalking or trance-like behavior, which was believed to be induced by animal magnetism. The book provides a detailed account of the experiments and their results, and offers a key to the mysteries of animal magnetism. It also includes a discussion of the history and philosophy of mesmerism, as well as its practical applications in medicine and psychology. Overall, Exposition Or A New Theory Of Animal Magnetism is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of mesmerism and its impact on science and society. Also, Strictures On Colonel William L.
