Experiments With Meaning is a smaller collection of works from the author, Robert Benefiel written in 2020. Considered the second part of an unofficial three book series, as the title suggests, the works in this volume plays with the voice of the writer. The pieces in this compilation of work diverge from the writers typical straight ahead narrative, thus making the poems expand their combination of language and imagery, never seeking to obscure the meaning of the piece but instead open it up further. By doing this the author feels as though they are pushing their own boundaries of expression forward, finding new enjoyment in the creative process while simultaneously showing their love for language, reminding themselves that new ground is always necessary to reveal and refresh the always expanding idea of what is art.
