Exclusive breastfeeding is crucial for improving child and maternal health, reducing mortality rates, and cutting healthcare costs. A study in Nigeria, Africa examined nursing mothers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding exclusive breastfeeding. Findings revealed that despite fair awareness of exclusive breastfeeding benefits, many mothers opt for mixed feeding due to cultural, religious, and economic factors. Recommendations include more campaigns, government support, diverse messaging, collaboration with traditional birth attendants, and increasing healthcare staff to reach remote areas.
