The Recycler is a computer virus that, through a mysterious twist of fate, escaped the confines of a machine and took on a physical form. It begins to grow, evolve, and spread. Its sustenance is metal, and its knowledge comes from the vast ocean of information on the global Internet, which it swiftly hijacks - along with cellular networks and every other digital communication channel in the city.
As a result, Kharkiv becomes completely cut off from the outside world. Seizing the opportunity, a gang calling itself WCG unites with the intention of taking over the city. But they, too, soon become hostages of the chaos and run into more trouble than they ever anticipated.
A group of people led by a professor and his trainee becomes the only barrier standing in the Recycler's path - and the city's last hope for salvation...
