VOLUME ONE: As Jesus was speaking with His disciples one day, He asked them, Whom do men say that I, the Son of man, am? After His disciples mentioned the names of some of the great prophets of old, Jesus rephrased the question and asked them who they thought He was. Peter told Jesus that (He) the Son of man was the Son of God. As you can see, Peter did not elaborate on what it meant for Jesus to be a man. Yet, Jesus approved of this answer. But this raises several questions.
Was Jesus only curious to know if they saw Him as the Son of God? He specifically asked what people were saying about the Son of man. Why didn't Jesus pursue that subject? Is it enough to just be satisfied with the knowledge that Jesus had a dual nature? Certainly not. It is only logical to want to understand more about this very unusual man.
