Schutz is a book that provides an overview of the Essenes, a Jewish sect that flourished during the Second Temple period. The book delves into the history of the Essenes, their beliefs and practices, and their influence on Judaism and Christianity. It also explores the relationship between the Essenes and other Jewish sects of the time, such as the Pharisees and the Sadducees. The author draws on a variety of sources, including the Dead Sea Scrolls, to present a comprehensive picture of the Essenes and their impact on Jewish history. This book is suitable for anyone interested in the history of Judaism and the development of early Christianity.Compiled from the Records of the Literary and Philosophical Society of Liverpool, and the Sacred History of Oahspe. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
