Through a collection of essays and poems, Sal shows us how God took an angry bitter man bent on retribution and troublemaking and made him into a Christlike soldier for justice. Writing as a Christian and a jailhouse lawyer, Sal aims to change the world from a prison cell, and this book fulfills part of that mission. Sal writes because he believes the more people read about prison life, the more informed and better equipped they will be to understand the importance of mending broken lives. He speaks from bitter experience and heartache, but his message is one of hope and peace. He opens his heart to share the lost loves and of seeking the forgiveness of those he has hurt. He shares his passion for education, litigation, legislation and adjudication. But above all, he shares his love for family, for God and for his new family in Christ. This book will both challenge and inspire you. May it change the way you see and hear.
