When students moved to tertiary education, they need to adapt to diverse teaching methods and therefore need to have the ability to adapt to the teachers' various teaching techniques and styles. This is especially true when it comes to the two major teaching modes at tertiary level namely listening to lectures and giving presentations. As such, some mismatching by using auditory or visual learning styles for kinaesthetic students may be suitable. This facilitates them to learn in new ways and assist them to stretch and develop new learning styles to survive at the university.
