Escape: The Personal Narrative Of A Political Prisoner Who Was Rescued From Lipari, The Fascist Devils Island is a memoir written by Francesco Fausto Nitti. The book tells the story of Nitti's time as a political prisoner on the island of Lipari, which was used as a prison by the fascist government of Italy during World War II. Nitti was arrested for his anti-fascist activities and spent several years on Lipari, enduring harsh conditions and brutal treatment. The book describes his daily life on the island, his interactions with other prisoners, and his eventual escape with the help of a group of Italian partisans. Nitti's story provides a firsthand account of the horrors of fascist Italy and the resilience of those who fought against it. The book is a powerful reminder of the importance of standing up for one's beliefs and fighting for freedom and justice. With A Preface By The Authors Uncle, Ex-Premier Of Italy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
