From the writer that brought you East Of Eden . . . On the rollercoaster that is your existence, people enter your life that shape it, mold it, make it real . . . Make it die . . . Written in diary fashion, inside lies the story of a man who was lost at a time when he most needed direction, pulled himself out of the mire, rolled the dice again, and lost everything . . . And of two women . . . The first self-absorbed and lost, who desperately tried to hold onto something that she claimed she never wanted in the first place . . . The other in the grip of a manic state, ruled and overruled by a cocktail of drugs and psychological babble that finally convinced her that holding on to what she had was more important than her own happiness - and his . . . Dreams can die a slow and agonizing death . . . the proof is in the words . . .
