Catastrophes happen every day and are unfortunately over-looked, ignored and brushed under the carpet. But what if one day there was one too big to turn a blind eye to? One that could send the whole world into disarray and leave civilisations stranded without a prayer? Well, Richelle Yamashita thinks she may have just awoken into a Dystopian England suffering from that very catastrophe. The dead walk the streets in search of human flesh and it seems that nothing will stop them. She's all alone in a world where she desperately needs someone, but she's not willing to give up hope. Her search for her family and lover will take her adrenaline to levels she never knew existed and make her realise that she had never truly felt fear before. She vows that she shall find her loved ones, or die trying. If the beasts interfere with her mission, they'll be so dead, they will die twice. A story that will have you on the edge of your seat with a broken heart, this novel will not fail to move you as much as it will make you jump out of your skin and question what really lurks in the shadows. It'll make you question everything you know about human nature and how our minds would adapt to the situation that has befallen Richelle. Would you risk it all to save those you love, or would you leave them all behind and solely save yourself? Horror with a twist of Science-Fiction, this novel forces Richelle to question her faith and the abilities of science to save her diseased and confused mind from the desperation and tear-stained truth that should be a lie, and as the reader, you shall be riding the emotional rollercoaster with her all the way.
