The English Works of John Wyclif Hitherto Unprinted is a book that contains a collection of writings by John Wyclif, a prominent theologian and reformer from the 14th century. This particular edition includes previously unpublished works, making it a valuable resource for scholars and historians interested in Wyclif's ideas and influence on the church. The book is divided into several sections, each containing a different type of writing. The first section includes sermons and homilies, which were intended to be read aloud to congregations. These works offer insight into Wyclif's religious beliefs and his views on the role of the church in society. The second section includes treatises and letters, which were written to other scholars and theologians. These works are more academic in nature and explore topics such as the nature of the Trinity and the relationship between faith and reason. The final section includes translations of biblical texts, including the New Testament and the Psalms. Wyclif was known for his translation work, which helped to make the Bible more accessible to English-speaking audiences.Overall, The English Works of John Wyclif Hitherto Unprinted is an important contribution to the study of medieval theology and the history of the English language. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
