Again, series is an epic adventure of interwoven tales intended to take the reader outside the limits of everyday life with glimpses into the near future where social dogma and substance abuse are found wanting to deal with a geomagnetic pole reversal event. Each book in the series follows a diverse set of characters through the trauma when their world goes wrong.Book five, YodHeaVau, takes the reader to a coastal island where the reader is reunited with characters from book two as they struggle to maintain their relationships in a vastly changed world. One of the young women seeks divine guidance and feels her prayers are answered when a passing ship offers them a luxurious return to technology. She discovers that some of the research-sensors they are deploying are missing, but she suspects her supervisor is trying to hide his mistake when the missing sensors mysteriously show up in the wrong location. The ship's director calls on his Alliant Church of God (ACoG) religious dogma when stranded on an ill-fated excursion and the woman blames his blasphemy for their predicament and the illness of her child. He returns to sea to fulfill his father's wishes (the leader of the ACoG) and is rewarded with additional writings from his father. He suffers several trials returning to the sanctuary and discovers the true purpose of the beacons as a coronal mass ejection causes worldwide upheaval predicted by his father. Through the additional writings, the cataclysm is recognized as a shortcut to reestablish the geomagnetic field.
