Laugh a lot, laugh loud and laugh happily (EdFringe Review) with this hilarious collection of fifteen short stories from the future of British comedy (ThreeWeeks), about the humiliating distance between who we are and who we want to be. Multi-award-winning comedian Alex Kitson's debut collection, embarrassment (and my usual excuses), is the funniest new book you'll read this year.
Idi Amin joins the cast of Celebrity Traitors. Two chess ultras cause havoc at a local league match to bond as father and son. Odysseus reveals everything Homer left out of the Odyssey. And in 'Nepo Baby', an ambitious employee adapts after her CEO promotes his baby son to be her manager.
Laugh-out-loud funny yet heartfelt, embarrassment (and my usual excuses) is the book for anyone mortified by their screen time and whose new year's resolution was to read more.
