Eddy the Sleepless Elephant
By Elise Ann
A tender, rhyming bedtime story for the children who can't sleep, and the parents who are wide awake beside them.
Eddy is a curious little elephant with a big heart and a brain that just won't slow down. When the jungle grows quiet and the stars come out to play, Eddy's thoughts keep bouncing, swirling, and asking questions. No matter how hard he tries, sleep never comes easy.
Told in alternating voices between Eddy and his loving parent, Eddy the Sleepless Elephant is a comforting, lyrical story that validates the real sleep struggles many neurodivergent children and their families face. With gentle illustrations and soothing rhyme, it honors both the child's experience and the parent's perseverance, with a heartwarming ending that reminds us that love is patient, present, and always awake when it needs to be.
Perfect for families navigating autism, ADHD, or sensory processing differences, this book offers connection, comfort, and a deep exhale for anyone who's ever whispered, Why won't they sleep?
Includes a heartfelt author's note for caregivers who need to know: you're not alone.
