'Echoes' is a collection of deep and powerful poetry written in colorful imagery and delivered in easy flowing verses. The poems transcend a diverse stretch of themes; from love, romance and relationships to politics, daily social experiences, religion and philosophy. The poems are written to speak to the desires of poetry enthusiasts, entertain and touch the delicate souls of lovers, provoke our thoughts as a society to vices and troubles that afflict our women and children, tickle our emotions, soothe our pains, celebrate our relationships and experiences and dispel our despairs in the context of life's realities that we go through every day. The styles range from the deep Shakespearean medieval rhymes, to modern freestyle play with lines and words to make the poems readable and relevant to any lover of poetry, be it an academician or a casual fan of good poetry. All the poems in this collection have never been published before thus are being presented to the global poetry and literary audience for the first time through this collection. It contains some of the poet's favorites including; 'Love lures', a smooth romantic poem delivered through alliteration; 'Love sways', which is a ballad; Zein & Zelda, a love poem that is written as a dialogue between two lovers; 'A call to Bangui', written to a war torn Central Africa Capital; 'Silent Rage' written against child molestation and 'The reawakening dispatch' which is a dedication to Prof. Kofi Awoonor who died in the September 21, 2013 terrorist attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi Kenya.
