The inspiration for this story came from Moon's son. While playing baseball, he would often imagine that whenever he hit a ball high into the air, it went so far that it bounced off of Mars. His imagination sparked the idea for this book, and she hopes it inspires other children to dream big and see endless possibilities in the world around them.
About the Author
Lashaia Moon is a stay-at-home mom to two adventurous boys and has been married for nearly ten years to her high school sweetheart. Moon and her husband have built a life together in a small town in Utah, where family and creativity are at the heart of everything they do. Art has always been a passion of Moon's-whether it's sketching on paper, painting digitally, or creating large-scale murals. Along with taking on commissioned art pieces, she also shares her love of music by teaching piano lessons. Moon enjoys learning and growing alongside her kids, and is grateful for the chance to weave creativity into both her family life and work.
