The Ecclesiastical Polity Of The New Testament Unfolded, And Its Points Of Coincidence Or Disagreement With Prevailing Systems Indicated is a book written by Samuel Davidson and published in 1854. The book provides a detailed analysis of the structure and organization of the early Christian church as described in the New Testament. Davidson examines the roles of various church leaders, such as bishops, deacons, and presbyters, and explores the relationships between these leaders and the broader Christian community. In addition to describing the ecclesiastical polity of the early church, Davidson also compares and contrasts this system with prevailing systems of church organization in his own time. He identifies areas of agreement and disagreement between the New Testament model and the contemporary practices of various Christian denominations. Overall, The Ecclesiastical Polity Of The New Testament Unfolded, And Its Points Of Coincidence Or Disagreement With Prevailing Systems Indicated provides a comprehensive and scholarly examination of the early Christian church and its organization. It is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Christianity and the development of church organization. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
