Twila: I don't remember how I ended up in Purgatory. This bland expanse of land that seems to lead me to my last resting place after I've been judged. My grim reaper, Ravina, tells me this path I walk will be the last before I am either sent to Heaven or Hell. Along the way I am forced at traveler spots where I am supposed to find key answers to memories I forgot in life, or get the help I need to understand along the way.
The memories I do have of my life are cruel and it makes me feel worthless, but Ravina seems to help bring some color to this world when I look at her. She keeps me steady along my journey, and brings me comfort I don't remember having since my mother died. I start to hope that this journey takes forever so I can be with her longer. Love is a strange feeling, especially when it is with someone you are not supposed to love.
Ravina: I have been a grim reaper and have led many travelers to their final resting places. I've seen it all, the strange, the cruel and the saddened, but somehow Twila takes my breath away. She makes me feel things I didn't know grim reapers could feel anymore. Her journey turns out longer than normal and I find myself thankful for the extension of time I have with her.
My heart though seems to beat with every spot that she stops in and I have to watch her go through her life, and relearn why she ended up here in Purgatory. Everything about her is unique. The soft lavender of her hair and the way she is so timid. The most surprising about her is how she makes me feel, and as we near the end of her journey I am desperately looking for a way to keep her. A way to protect her forever. She is mine and I am afraid that I won't be able to let her go.
