Maren Lofton, an intelligent, clever 26-year-old business manager has taken off from the Caribbean Island of San Roussel in a Jet. The only other passenger is thirtyish Jon Fitch, her lover. Their relationship has reached the madly in love stage. Good thing too. He believes it is just an afternoon jaunt. Maren has other ideas. Recently awash in a huge sum of money, she has a new life planned for them. She is hoping their love is strong enough for him to be able to overcome the shock that they are never going back to the Island. Their new course is the Whitsunday Islands in the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. He follows his heart and agrees to her agenda for now. Their adventure and passion abound for months until she learns that someone might be after her money. Large sums of money, especially when gotten in a less than conventional way, have a tendency to attract trouble.
