Don't Spell Me! is the author's sixth publication, and her third anthology. It connotes a self-assured, feisty, and candid statement regaling the use and appreciation of the Jamaican dialect in the telling of Jamaican stories. The title captures the essence of the vibrant and convivial nature of the colourful language of the Jamaican people. Across the country there are variations in accents and emphasis that make communication all the more interesting and unique. In this volume words are spelt the way they sound, and all natives and those who love our country will enjoy.

The book Commemorates the 60th year of Independence and will be a treasured collection for time to come. It chronicles numerous aspects of life and relationships, family, and community. Beneath every piece is the indefatigable Jamaican humour, woven in the language that will be nostalgic for some, a learning moment for others, but an undeniably enjoyable read for all! Entirely family-friendly, this book chronicles so much of life and familiar experiences that it will be hard to put down.
