Most kids at Ahlers Creek Middle School are just trying to survive until lunch.
Noah is no exception.
Then he discovers a vending machine that shouldn't exist.
It doesn't sell snacks.
It sells wishes.
Confidence Gum. Champion Chocolate. Truth Taffy. Popularity Gummies.
At first, the results seem amazing. The shyest kid in school suddenly can't stop talking. A struggling athlete becomes unstoppable. Students start getting exactly what they've always wanted.
But every item comes with consequences.
As more students discover the machine, the school spirals into chaos. Secrets are exposed. Rivalries explode. Wishes backfire. And the closer Noah gets to uncovering the truth, the stranger things become.
Do Not Use the Vending Machine is a wildly imaginative middle-grade adventure about friendship, belonging, and the surprising truth that the shortcuts to becoming who you are aren't found behind a glass window.
