De Pedo Episcopali (Of the Bishop's Fart) is a satirical work by Tobias Eckhard, lampooning ecclesiastical figures during the Renaissance. The book employs humor to critique the perceived excesses and absurdities within the Church. Eckhard's sharp wit and clever use of satire provide a fascinating glimpse into the social and religious landscape of the time. This enduring work remains relevant for its historical insights and its timeless commentary on power, authority, and human fallibility.
