Ontgiftiging van het christendom is een scherpe Torah-eerst-toets van christelijke bewijsplaatsen, kerkelijk gezag en de claim dat Jezus de vervulling is van de Hebreeuwse Bijbel.
Dit boek begint niet bij kerkelijke aannames. Het geeft het Nieuwe Testament niet vooraf het recht om de Tenach te herlezen. Het stelt één eerlijke vraag: wat bewijst de Hebreeuwse Bijbel zelf, voordat christelijke theologie de uitkomst al bepaalt?
Frans Hansen onderzoekt de kernclaims van het christendom:
- Is Jezus werkelijk de Messias volgens de publieke voorwaarden van de Tenach?
- Bewijst Jesaja 53 Jezus, of wordt de knecht uit zijn Jesaja-context gehaald?
- Kondigt Jeremia 31 echt een kerkelijk nieuw verbond aan, of schrijft het Torah juist in het hart van Israël?
- Geeft Deuteronomium 4:2 ruimte voor een geloof dat Torah verandert, vervangt of herclassificeert?
- Heeft het christendom ooit wettig Joods gezag ontvangen om Joden aan Jezus, incarnatie en kerkelijke interpretatie te binden?
- Is vervulling bewijs, of vaak een woord waarmee ontbrekende vruchten worden hernoemd?
Dit is geen beleefde samenvatting van verschillen. Het is een kruisverhoor.
Het boek laat zien hoe missionaire argumenten vaak werken: een vers wordt uit zijn context gehaald, een gelijkenis wordt voorspelling genoemd, een messiaanse passage wordt Jezus genoemd, Jezus wordt God genoemd, en daarna krijgt de kerk gezag over Israëls Schrift. Stap voor stap wordt die keten vertraagd, getest en blootgelegd.
Voor christenen die durven vragen, biedt dit boek een weg uit angst, kerkelijke druk en aangeleerde reflexen. Voor Joden biedt het broncontrole, categoriehelderheid en praktische bescherming tegen missionaire claims. Voor Noachieden en zoekers biedt het een directe terugkeer naar de Ene God zonder Jezus als onbewezen middelaar.
Ontgiftiging van het christendom is geschreven voor lezers die geen religieuze druk willen erven, maar argumenten willen inspecteren.
