A Dog Story for Kids About School Pet Day, Anxiety, and Classroom Chaos - A Social Emotional Learning Picture Book for Children Ages 4-8

When a nervous dog attends Pet Day at school, what could possibly go wrong?

It's Pet Day at Danny's school and his dog, Dusty, is very nervous! What if Dusty makes a mistake in front of the other pets? When the good-hearted pup has a tail-wagging mishap, classroom chaos ensues as the other animals are accidentally released from their cages. Can Dusty fix his oops and calm his anxiety?

This playful story shows young readers that making mistakes is not the end of the world.

Special features:

  • Kids can hunt for hidden words on bones throughout the story and then put the words together to reveal a secret message from Dusty.
  • Discussion questions at the end of the book will help young readers understand that it's okay to make mistakes, especially when we are learning something new.
  • A free teaching guide, activities, and fun games are available on Dusty's website, DustyTheDog.com
Dusty's Big Oops! is the perfect book for any child (or adult!) who has ever made a mistake.
