In a World Where Dragons Have Mostly DisappearedThe freedom from enslavement of an entire people depend on a young, inexperienced magician and a captive dragon. Can they break the chain, defeat the captors, and change the world? Find out in Dragons Restored and Other Short Stories. An ancient fire-bridge once spanned the space between two worlds. One world is desperately trying to rekindle the fire and link the worlds once again. The secrets to the fire-bridge could mean powerful energy to the unsuspecting world, who are drawn closer to creating their piece of the bridge through their developing technologies--but they are totally unaware of implications and possible consequences of attempting this technological advance. Experience the extra-terrestrial quest for fire in the Allure of the Trap.Dragons Restored and Other Short Stories are a mixture of fantasy and science fiction stories. They are targeted at the young adult audience, but will be enjoyed by all. Most of the stories were written for specific purposes and had strict word limits.Other stories include super villains wanting to control the world, and teens with special powers given them by specific runes. The Rune Master's Apprentice will have you in suspense until the very end.You will enjoy these short, but entertaining stories.Read what others have to say: In a storytelling style reminiscent of Ray Bradbury, Dean R. Giles weaves one engaging tale after another. Magic, dragons, virus-carrying insects, heroes & heroine, all come to life with words that paint in vivid images. It is said science fiction is a depiction of the real; Fantasy is a depiction of the unreal. Here in DRAGONS RESTORED we have both worlds coming together.A great collection of stories each with their own twist which I did enjoy. Fantastic creativity.I loved Dragons Restored and would have loved this to be a full-length novel.Original ideas which are thoughtful and intriguing and not at all what I expected. A great read not only for YA but anyone who enjoys a great story. I enjoyed these short stories, especially the imaginative plots, powers, and worlds painted by the author. I wanted very much for the adventures to go on!
