Gesture performed due to the false news of Vlad's death in battle, sended to her in the form of a letter, from the Turks enemies who came up this terrible revenge for the suffered defeat. To the words of the Priest, that condemned the soul of the suicidal Elisabeta to eternal damnation, Vlad was blinded by anger and pain, so much so as to deny God and the Church who had defense.
