It was the men who had quietly financed his last camp, and a commission that decided the taint of who paid for him was enough on its own. He fights unsanctioned now, for cash, buying back a debt on the only terms anyone will give him.

It is proof of a fix that was arranged around that fight and never needed. It is enough to have the result voided. Enough to strip a champion of a win he earned honestly, hand Marco a technicality he does not believe he deserves, and bring a licence review down on the people who trained her.
And the men still collecting Marco's debt have stopped asking him for money. They have started telling him which round to go down in.
Priya has spent her whole career being decided for, by people who were not unkind about it and never once thought to ask. She is not going to do it to the one man who has ever actually looked at her.
So she puts the folder in his hands. And she does not open it for him.
