During WW II, Corrie ten Boom and her family hid Jews in their home, putting their own lives at great risk. Eventually, the family was arrested. Her beloved sister and father died in a concentration camp. After the war, Corrie spent the rest of her life traveling around the world sharing a message of God's love and forgiveness. It's because of this life, she was acquainted all too well with fear and worry. But the Lord in His faithfulness taught her how to live a life without being afraid and worrying. In Don't Wrestle, Just Nestle, Corrie shares the stories, the challenges, and the victories and how God used them to shape her life into one of resting and trusting in Him. From the Book: When Jesus told His disciples, Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself, He was saying, Don't try to carry today's burden and tomorrow's burden at the same time. No man sinks under the burden of the day. It is only when yesterday's guilt is added to tomorrow's anxiety that our legs buckle and our backs break. It is delightfully easy to live one day at a time! When we worry, we are carrying tomorrow's load with today's strength; carrying two days in one. We are moving into tomorrow ahead of time. There is just one day in the calendar of action-today.
