This book will give you a profound insight into accepting that by default, you are limited-not because you lack insight or knowledge, but rather because the truth of your humanity prevents things from always turning out as you had hoped. This book makes clear that God has His own ways of doing things, which initially may not sit well with us but end up working out for the best. You will learn from this book that there are instances when difficulties, suffering, and disappointments turn out to be blessings in disguise.
Most of the time, we struggle to understand God's ways, His schemes, and tactics. While we as humans have our own methods, the Ancient of Days, who is wiser than the smartest, sees things that are not visible to the naked eye. Many people live in the PRISON of life despite having virtually daily dreams of the PALACE.
Numerous people have also heard numerous prophecies about their great future; however, the circumstances they are currently experiencing appear to be the complete antithesis of those prophecies. Many envision themselves ruling over principalities in their dreams, yet they are actually being enslaved by both visible and invisible foes. God acts very differently from how we do. His approaches are very different from ours. Although He may have guaranteed you of your fruitfulness, it appears that you are currently at a standstill.
The dream Joseph had, kept his brothers up at night. He witnessed greatness, but his body also went through sufferings and humiliations. He was going to spend his last days in the palace, but he entered the PIT first. He never anticipated it! He was going to sell grains and become rich, but his brothers first duped him.
He was supposed to aid the oppressed, but first he experienced oppression. While translating dreams for his fellow prisoners, he experienced a delay in the fulfillment of his own desires. He was blessed by God to grow up to be a famous young man, but he still felt humiliated. He maintained his purity, but was stifled by those with immoral thoughts.
God remained vigilant, waiting to see what he would do. While he awaited the appearance of his own dream, he never stopped interpreting those of others. What a personality! You need to go through the fire in order to become as pure as gold. God guides you through the storms while ensuring that your ship never capsizes. Because He is aware that you are operating from a position of victory, He permits the battles. That is His tactic!
You keep hammering on the door for Him to open it, but He ignores you since He is inside cooking a feast for you. He doesn't say anything while you're hungry because He's still shopping for you. He is confident that after you have struggled, you will succeed. He is a good father, not a bad one. He had already planned your route before you arrived. He is not unaware of the current suffering!
At the conclusion of it all, you will undoubtedly reach your place of rest. He moves inexplicably while working His miracles. He rides the storm and plots His steps in the water.
