Discoveries is probably my most personal photo book - at least at the time of publishing. It's about the places and the pictures of course. However, it's also about my thoughts and feelings about those places and the pictures. A discovery I made when working on this book is that there's an impact of the place on the picture or in other words: I believe the place of a picture also impacts the photographer. / Discoveries ist vermutlich mein persönlichstes Fotobuch - zumindest zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung. In diesem Buch geht es natürlich um Orte und Fotos. Es geht allerdings vor allem auch um meine Gedanken und Emotionen zu diesen Orten und Fotos. Eine Entdeckung, die ich bei der Arbeit an diesem Buch machte, ist das die Orte Einfluss auf das Foto haben oder vielleicht besser ausgedrückt: Ich denke, der Ort beeinflusst auch den Fotografen.
