Dimitrov: A Biography is a comprehensive account of the life and political career of Georgi Dimitrov - a prominent Bulgarian communist leader and revolutionary. Written by Stella D. Blagoyeva, the book traces Dimitrov's life from his early years as a revolutionary in Bulgaria to his rise to prominence as the leader of the Communist International. Blagoyeva delves into Dimitrov's involvement in various political movements and his role in the Spanish Civil War, as well as his leadership during World War II and his subsequent role in the establishment of communist governments in Eastern Europe. The book also explores Dimitrov's personal life, including his relationships with other communist leaders and his experiences as a political prisoner.Blagoyeva's biography draws on extensive research and primary sources, including Dimitrov's personal papers and interviews with his colleagues and family members. The result is a detailed and engaging portrait of a complex and influential figure in 20th-century politics. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
