This second volume of David's diaries documents his relentless patience in the face of many disappointments and problems in his quest to transport unwanted but useable school supplies from Scotland to schools all over the world. He experienced a rollercoaster of ups and downs in the effort to deliver ocean freight containers of salvaged, fit-for-purpose, surplus-to-requirements educational resources to schools and communities in desperate need of them.
This vocation consumed almost all of David's waking life for several years. It required dedication and determination to deal with the stresses, frustrations and downright disasters that were to meet David in his quest to transform students' lives in areas with a dire need. Against the odds, David kept the faith, trying to remain positive and committed to tasks that at times seemed like they might beat him.
Supported by the generous help of many individuals - David persisted in his efforts to transport unwanted but useable school supplies from Scotland to classrooms and all over the world.
David's work has made a difference to numerous classrooms in many countries all over the world - a legacy that lives on beyond the life of the materials themselves.
