This story is about the minds of two young women who come from somewhat different backgrounds, yet the similarity to their lives is quite the same.
Yvonne duBois is a talented girl, trained in athletics and very smart. However, her upbringing has not afforded her the luxury of furthering her education, so she turns her education to the streets. Mr. Doyle does a magnificent job of letting the reader explore the minds and the everyday lives of these two women and the impact that is wrought upon them and everyone around them. This 29 chapter story is sure to keep you riveted to the edge of your seat, and one warning, prepare for a long read, as you will not be able to put this book down until you have reached the end.
