The cat Fasel from the estate of the rich owner Demetrisio knows the secret about the old ''Fountain of Wishes. Namely, when a gold coin is brought on the night of the full moon, the old Blue Spirit appears and fulfills wishes. So the cat Fasel got a gold coin, woke up the old Blue Ghost and wanted to be a beautiful sailor who lives in a fountain. The old blue ghost granted him his wish. The cat became a merman. Get to know the wonderful magical underwater world here. But boss Demetrisio has a beautiful young daughter who is engaged to a rich young man named Gianni. By chance, she sees a beautiful sailor in the fountain and falls in love with him, so much so that she almost forgets about her fiancé. Since Fasel finds her presence intrusive, he decides to write a letter to Gianni and invite him to be a merman so that Desdemona can choose the one she likes better. Gianni arrives, brings a gold coin and becomes a seaman. Only then does Fasel realize how much he enjoyed the presence of that beautiful girl and that he was wrong to invite Gianni. A great fight and conflict follows between them. Now Dessy must decide which one she likes better. She chooses Fasel, whom the old Blue Ghost turns into a man, a rich gold merchant. Boss Demetrisio now meets Fasel, and Dessy and Fasel get married and live happily ever after.
